A late teen supernatural drama series, GIFTED features a class of nine high school students. Each has a secret supernatural “Gift” and they all attend a class to learn to use these abilities. Their teacher, Madame, encourages the students to work together to use their abilities, particularly as they begin to realise they are being targeted by another force who want to control their abilities for their own evil ends. After wrapping a successful shoot at the start of April, Black Camel Pictures is pleased to announce that Outpost: Black Sun is in post-production. The film stars Catherine Steadman (The Tudors, The Inbetweeners) and Richard Coyle (Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Going Postal) as Lena and Wallace as they battle to prevent the undead Nazi army marching across Europe. LEGACY NOMINATED FOR BEST UK FILM AT RAINDANCE

We are delighted to announce that LEGACY has been nominated for best UK feature at the 18th annual Raindance Film Festival 2010. The festival runs from the 23rd September to the 10th October, with the winner to be announced before the closing ceremony. The year is 1945, the closing stages of WW2, and a German scientist by the name of Klausener is working on frightening new technology with the power to create an immortal Nazi army. Flash forward to present day, and a NATO task force is hurriedly deployed to Eastern Europe, where a sinister enemy appears to be mercilessly killing everything in its path. But this is no ordinary foe. Only Helena, a gutsy investigator on the trail of notorious war-criminal Klausener, accepts the reality of what they are facing, a battalion of Nazi Storm-Troopers, a veritable zombie army on the march. With the help of Wallace, a man who’s been chasing Nazi secrets for years, the two of them team up with a Special Forces Unit to venture deep behind enemy lines. Their mission to fight their way back to the source of this evil army and prevent the seemingly inevitable rise of the 4th Reich.

Codeblack Entertainment has acquired North American distribution rights to Legacy from the Film Sales Company in New York.

Legacy was recently awarded The Grand Jury Prize for Best Film at the 14th Annual American Black Film Festival in Miami. Legacy’s screening in Miami follows appearances on the festival circuit where it has garnered acclaim from critics and audiences. Earlier this year, Legacy was selected as the Closing Gala film at the Glasgow Film Festival, followed by screenings at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York and the Little Rock Film Festival where it was also nominated for Best Film.
