Welcome to Black Camel Pictures the Glasgow based feature film production company run by the BAFTA winning producers of Outpost and Legacy, Arabella Page-Croft and Kieran Parker, along with writer/director Steve Barker.

In 2009 Black Camel Pictures shot the US set psychological thriller Legacy starring Idris Elba (Obsessed, The Wire) who also Executive Produces. Legacy was written and is directed by British Nigerian talent Thomas Ikimi.

Idris Elba plays Black Ops soldier Malcolm Gray who returns to a Brooklyn hotel after a failed mission in Eastern Europe where he undergoes an intense journey on a quest for personal retribution.

Legacy will receive its World Premiere as the Closing Gala Screening of the Glasgow Film Festival on 28th February 2010.

Black Camel are now gearing up to shoot Outpost: Black Sun the sequel to 2008’s Outpost, with Steve Barker once more directing and co-writing the script along with Rae Brunton.

Black Sun is set in present day Eastern Europe, with a Nazi Zombie legion on the march. With the combined might of NATO struggling to hold back the tide, only Lena, a gutsy Nazi-hunter, with the help of a crack Special Forces team, can unlock the secrets that will stop the rise of a Fourth Reich forever.
